Hello All - I discovered my RD6 (SN 2H4723W) has a bad main clutch disk. It has the two piece disk. Part # for the large portion is 4B323, 4B324 for the small section. I called Florin Tractor and they do not have either one nor do they have the newer single one piece disk which should be 4B9442. Anyone have any ideas where to find a good disk or have one possibly made? Has anybody run into this before? This is not good!

The specs for the 4B9442 disc are.....

Fully organic
415.5mm OD
152.4mm ID
14.3mm Thick
64 teeth

If that's any help.
Have no idea where you would get one made.

I need those two pieces also. Tried at Capitol Clutch and Brake in Sacramento California. Spent some time with the parts man there looking at specifications of Rockford Clutch Discs.

We could come close to the dimensions but nothing really would work. Also the Rockford Discs are one piece design.

The 4B9443 one piece disc replaced the two piece long ago.
I don't see anything close in the twin disc lineup. A few with 64 teeth but no where near the OD

Hi Team,
I believe the two piece plate is simply a full plate with the appropriate sized sector cut out of it (using a very thin saw blade) to enable easy removal/fitment.
Use the old plate pieces as a template.

Last Rockford/twin-disc clutch I replaced had the discs in thirds. Seems to work just fine, just a bit fiddly to to keep everything aligned as you push the clutch into the flywheel.

I wonder what a laser cut or water jet cut steel disc with linings riveted on would cost.

Or maybe swap flywheel gear for one that has a disc that's readily available.

Not available from Peterson Tractor. Will check with Florin Tractor.

"I also joined a year ago. had been on here a couple of times as a non-member and found the info very helpful so I got a one year subscription (not very expensive at all) to try it out. I really like all the resources on here so I just got a three year. I think its a very small price for what you can get out of this site."
