Looking for a scale model of D7 3T

hello Mike ,hard to tell if the model is a 7m or 3t ,bruce oz

Sherwood Models made a very nice D7, hard to find, and not cheap.
Wish I had one.

Resicast some years ago made a 3T D7 model either with LeT cable bulldozer and another fitted with hydraulic angledozer.
Scale 1:35, resin kit.

I believe this to be a model of the 4T. It is the same model used by Sherwood Models for their customizations. It was made by NZG and distributed in the US by Norscot Group. It is in 1:25 scale. There were 10,000 made and issued in 1994. They show up on eBay from time to time, so they can be found. The price will probably range from $100 to $300 US, depending on condition.

The only model in Yellow that I know of is the Sherwood customization. It is hard to find, and would probably be $800 or more. It comes in several variations.

Reuhl produced a model issued in the early 1940s, but I believe it to be a 7M based on the year of production.

Hi Lee, Thanks for those pictures, you are right on the money there man. I have discovered that yes, NZG did make a model of the WW11 D7 which I believe is #386. This is the one I need for my Dad's best buddy, his had the Army green under the Highway Yellow in certain spots, so will keep my eyes open on ebay. There was one advertised in the UK, but a track was broken and I think it was still about $300! Cheaper almost to buy the real McCoy considering there was what, 50,000 of them made, compared to only 10,000 plastic models.

HOLY COW!.........some of those toys brought a price didn't they.

Mike...I knew I had seen one of these models for sale on the internet. If you go to www.garberent.com and click on "Merchandise", then click on "Caterpillar Die cast Models", you will find one of these models for sale for US $275. There are a couple of pictures of the model.

Have got and extra one of the Army ones if interested ,plus I have the box and operators manual that came with it. The serial no of the one I have is
492 stamped on the bottom of the Blade. Made in 1993 by NZG Want $225.00
for it and you pay the Shipping and Insurance. Also have one that does have aa unit on it .(robbed it and put it on a NZG 2U D8 and made a scraper tractor) Have the box and manual for it also.Sell it for $175.00 and you pay the shipping. Can contact me at [email protected] Thanks Al
