Terry, that was a 10 and pretty sure it was Daron that got her fired. Chris may have been in on it though.
Besides Chris has moved up in the world and is soon to be working on a D8😄 If you want to get a hold of him send me an email i can get you in touch with him. [email protected]

Thanks for the quick response! Think it was Daron then that lives by my friend in San Miguel. He has a problem with his 22, and I can't get down to look at it, and Daron I believe lives near Rabbit Ridge Winery, and both have a mutual friend named Ron. So I was just tryin' to look him up to see if he was interested in looking at my friends 22 for me.

I live in California City about 70 miles SE from Bakersfield. We did pass through Paso Robles and San Miguel last FRI and MON going to and from Prunedale (Salinas). We make the trip every few months as we both have family still there.

I do have a couple of 22's and had one running two years ago though I let it freeze the following winter. Took both to get one runner. I had to pull the engines to get the one running. Swapped radiators, clutch parts, magneto, firewall, etc.

I cleaned the fuel line on TractorDon's 10 to get it going (with the help of his young mechanic) and we ran it around in the normal 'Monterey Fog' (drizzle!).

'Jon' in Oregon is a wealth of info on 22's. He posted some pix of a small gas Cat and a potato planter a while back. He helped me by posting and phoning when I was splitting the second 22.

If I can be of help please let me know.

Hi TerryinNorCal,

I just saw your post. My mother lives just a little ways down the street from rabbit ridge winery, but I'm living in santa barbara now. I could certainly take a look at your friend's 22 next time I'm up there, but it will probably be at least 3 weeks from now.

Thanks for the response and offers, Daron and Chris. I'm going to try and talk him through it this weekend, and if further attention is needed I may need to take one of you up on the offer, if timing works out. Been pretty busy in family matters as of late, and gettin' loose is pretty difficult.

Testimonials

"I also joined a year ago. had been on here a couple of times as a non-member and found the info very helpful so I got a one year subscription (not very expensive at all) to try it out. I really like all the resources on here so I just got a three year. I think its a very small price for what you can get out of this site."
