Hello everyone. I recently acquired a 3T D7 that was used primarily as an ag tractor. Turns out, the previous owner took the Letourneau blade and cable control off of it, and I guess it is mine now. I need to do a small recovery mission; can someone tell me what the approximate weight of the blade/push arms and the unit? I never asked if it was a straight blade (guessing it was anyways). I need to take one of the RC60 forklifts with me to hoist onto my trailer. I don't ever plan on putting it back on the tractor. I am saving it from ending up at the metal recycle yard and slow boat overseas. Any certain lift points on the cable control unit? Thanks in advance. JM

From a war department manual, the LeTourneau WCK7 Angle Dozer assembly is 5390 lbs and the FTD7 PCU is 690 lbs.

Thank you sir. That gives me an idea of what to expect when I go fetch the items. JM

Testimonials

"I also joined a year ago. had been on here a couple of times as a non-member and found the info very helpful so I got a one year subscription (not very expensive at all) to try it out. I really like all the resources on here so I just got a three year. I think its a very small price for what you can get out of this site."
