I want to replace the pressure gage on my LaPlant Choate bulldozer on a D4-7U, 1950. The dial on the gage is rusted so I can't see the pressure range. What is the normal supply pressure I should see so I can get a gage with an appropriate scale?

The model # for the LaPlant Choate hardware is 4BX-1385R, probably original with the tractor.

Thanks

I'm not sure about you make but the Cat 44 hyd pump would be at 1000psi operating press and 1200 relief setting. So I would guess a 1500psi gauge or bigger to be safe.

Testimonials

"I also joined a year ago. had been on here a couple of times as a non-member and found the info very helpful so I got a one year subscription (not very expensive at all) to try it out. I really like all the resources on here so I just got a three year. I think its a very small price for what you can get out of this site."
