I just watched Killdozer a couple days ago. The movie was made in 1974 and they said the dozer was brand new in the movie but then they started it with the pony motor. I'm pretty sure that the D9G came standard with electric start beginning in 1971. I guess the weren't figuring on ACMOC members watching it๐Ÿ˜„. Remember this guy from 2004 in Colorado.https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Marvin_Heemeyer

My point was, Glen, my second link was about Marvin Heemeyer, the Granby dozer guy.
Interesting thing about that deal is that the city of Granby has obliterated all traces & references to the incident...like it never happened. They had a torch party to cut up the dozer & haul it to the scrap yard. Marv was kind of a folk hero around a lot of coffee shops though...

PS: Marv's choice of weapons was a D155 Komatsu.
