I bought the Service Manual off of Ebay and its got a Maintenance Manual in it. It's not the OMI
but it might be what we are looking for. The serial number is higher than mine. I'll try and get a pic
of the front and see what you think.
Update
We filled the hydraulic tank with oil and never seen any change in the sight glass.
Fired it up and hydraulics work great with no noise. Then we adjusted the right clutch
{ran the nut out a few turns until the throw out bearing yoke was loose. Right steering clutch
works!!! Now everything on our $4500 purchase works!
I took it in the woods behind the house to test everyhing and the first thing that I pushed up
was a rotten pine stump that has a healthy yellow jacket nest in it! Reverse and 5th gear works
great also!
Now we will start dealing with several worn linkages. Will keep y'all updated.

BTW I killed these two Timber Rattlesnakes about 15 feet from where
I was crawling under the dozer and working on it! They were mating.

I guess they went out with a bang! : )
Cats Forever
Got an update. My son and I replaced the chain and sprocket on the left side about 2 months ago. We operated it for about 20 minutes and the left steering clutch stopped working completely. We took the plunge and removed the clutches and found that a set screw, about the size of a pencil eraser, had came out of the throw-out bearing adjusting nut. We got everything back together yesterday and it is working great! Next we are gonna repack the blade cylinders. Wish us luck!
Always good to hear success stories about repairs. Generally they end up bigger than we hope before getting things apart.
