OK Bob, what is this about? The language is a little rough for this public board, and perhaps you can clarify. From one of the moderators, GWH

In my opinion I think OZ has given a wealth of good info on this site and has more knowledge than most unitelligent people that shouldnt even own a Caterpillar machine! If the info works and solves the problem bravo! but if not shutup! and dont dog the other guy! ask for or search for the solution or figure it out for yourself!

I've just bought 2 RD4's and I've never seen inside a Cat injector pump, nor had any idea how they work. Thanks Ozdozer for posting those cartoon images, because they helped this dumb farmer who never went to mechanic school better understand a critical system on my new Cats, and one I'm sure I'll get to know intimately over the next few months.๐Ÿ˜ฎ
I think Bob meant to say a "No. 1 Chart" too, because I know he uses the best language usually. Now when the doo daa's start flying in the shop as things go really pear shaped, maybe we need to refer to the size fan driving them. Something like "Well, the ca ca hit a 8" fan today", or this, "boy, we had a shocking screw up in the workshop with one of our apprentices, must have been a 36" fan driving those number two's, because it went everywhere"
That sounds more appropriate maybe for a family forum Bob.๐Ÿ˜„
Just my $0.02 worth๐Ÿ˜„
Now, back to my two 2 Tons, and their simple Zenith T5T's!

I just would like to mention that Im not saying everyone is dumb just ones that wonder where the wind comes from when a fan is blowing air,LOL! Those illustrations make a simple explanation.

D4 Jim, thank you for the heads-up. I have been away from home for a few days, and have not been able to keep up with this site. Apparently there is some material here that will have to be reviewed after I get home from my trip. I couldn't understand why someone wanted Joe Black, but maybe it was to delete some offensive material. I'll take a look at it when my mind is not mush. Then I might clean up 2 threads, perhaps entirely omitting this one. GWH

Someone having a "snit fit" is no reason to be deleting the post.....nothing libelous was said and I don't believe there was any foul language. Just difference in opinion.

My old English teacher at High School had us reading Shakespeare for some silly reason, boy, did that Shakespeare guy cut loose with some colourful language at times, including that naughty "P" word, maybe that's where the idea of the First Ammendment came from, so people could enjoy their own type of art and literature. The interesting thing about "English" words is their connotations, for example you Yanks "root" for your team, and wear "fanny packs" on your hips, both those words will get you kicked out of most decent Australian homes, because they are completely uncouth words to be spoken in front of a lady or children. That's the problem with these public forums, they are public.
Anyway, poor Ol Ozdozer is going to need therapy soon the way some people try and tear shreds off him, you boys notice how he's often the first one to reply to a question on this and the ACME site, he spends hours researching info free of charge for us mere morons, sometimes, though not often he gets it wrong, but is quick to apologise. That folks, is exactly why I collect Caterpillars, and not Internationals.๐Ÿ˜‰
