Received #161 today. Not one to complain, BUT! The USPS did a though job on ruining this copy by wetting it somehow. Gluing the pages together. The paper over wrap was little hinderance to the the moisture. I am starting a vote for a plastic sleeve. It may be a cost issue but a couple pennies to save my collection of ACMOC magazines.

Thank you, Herb

Sounds like a good idea. Lucky that mine came today rather than 2 days ago.. We had blowing snow that got in the mailbox and melted. The newspaper that came that day was toast.

Some of us think the current membership price is a bargain. Without our membership contribution there would be no bulletin board.  [/quote]

D4Jim - you are right, the dues are a bargain at $44/year for an online membership, the difference for getting the magazine is just enough to cover shipping costs. Just one answer from the forum, just one reference to the library can be worth $44.00 easily. There is a lot of value in the forum and the library in addition to the magazine content.

At the end of the day, I'm glad you're all here. I personally enjoy the commentary and information shared here, on the whole, this is a very positive group pf people that are pleasant to one another.

Testimonials

"I also joined a year ago. had been on here a couple of times as a non-member and found the info very helpful so I got a one year subscription (not very expensive at all) to try it out. I really like all the resources on here so I just got a three year. I think its a very small price for what you can get out of this site."
