Hi, Cdcompton.
You're looking at some pretty heavy pressures to get them off and put them back on. You might like to try hiring the gear to do it. Or see if somebody close to you can help out. I see you have your greater area location posted. Putting up your local town might give somebody who could help a better idea of how far away you are.

Just my 0.02.

You have a wonderful day. Best wishes. Deas Plant.

Providing you can get the outer hub off, it is possible to remove sprocket with housing an d bullgear and take to a press, is a very cumbersome way of repairing a final drive and you will need good lifting gear as you will have the weight of the final drive. It is much easier to get a press to the tractor.

Hi Cdcompton, if your serial number is 47A1- 47A3395(direct drive) or 48A1-48A6392(powershift) it is a low horsepower(160 hp) and the inner sprockets hubs are no longer available from any source new and super rare if not impossible to find used.
While I believe it is possible to remove the finals without a press, it is very heavy & difficult. The assembly will then have to be hauled to a shop to be pressed for rebuild.

Testimonials

"I also joined a year ago. had been on here a couple of times as a non-member and found the info very helpful so I got a one year subscription (not very expensive at all) to try it out. I really like all the resources on here so I just got a three year. I think its a very small price for what you can get out of this site."
