I need to adjust the valves on my DW20 with a D337 engine. I have misplaced my service manual and was hoping somebody out there could help me with this.

There are two different D337 engines and the early one is just the D337 and the later totally different engine is a D337F so you really need the SN of the machine to get the correct valve settings. The two that Bruce mentioned the 37B and 38B is the later D337F.The F series were turbo charged and the older just D337 were a gear driven roots blower type engine.I,ve rebuilt lots of both the engines but don,t have a spec. for them with the hyd. lifter setting right here and been so many years since I retired I can,t remember the procedure for them.

Thank you Bruce Oz and SJ for all of your help! I have a DW10 and 5 DW20s! They are the best machines! Don't make them like that any more, do they?

I got onto your website, Bruce and am amazed at everything you have taken pictures of! It would be very helpful to me if you have the specs for the D337.
I have added your site to my favorites and will check it out often!

Thanks again for your help! By the way, the D337 is the 87E model!

The 87E would have the later D337F engine in it.The 67C is when the 337F was started to be used in them and yours is the later DW20 with the 337F.
