Pull it out and install it out over the track or pointing upside down over the PC chamber and use the pony motor to turn the diesel over to check and see if it's spraying. If it seems to be spraying, then swap another injector from a "good" cylinder into that spot and see if the miss follows the injector or stays with that cylinder.

Most likely need to have the whole set adjusted for proper performance.
D2-5J's, D6-9U's, D318 and D333 power units, 12E-99E grader, 922B & 944A wheel loaders, D330C generator set, DW20 water tanker and a bunch of Jersey cows to take care of in my spare time😄

I swapped the injector with another cylinder and it started working when i open the line on the number 2 pump the engine dosent change could the pump be bad? I have another pump will try that I think pump 2 and 3 are not working right as when i open 1 and 4 the engine strats to miss and change like they should when you open the lines number 3 doest it a little bit but not as much but i think it is best i haver the injector serviced and set right.im just wasting fuel and time trying to adjust them myself since I had the injectors apart should have left them alone. woulkd be farther ahead lol.... I just want to play and got lots of log moving and land clearing for her to do.any Ideas would be helpful.

I had a similar problem on a D7-17A it turned out to be a bad injector pump on one cylinder. Go and purchase a replacement injector pump and move it around to the different positions until you find which one is bad.
