Hi, Biggurn.
That is a neat unit. Thanks for sharing. I have seen photos of a Schramm unit that looked something like that but appeared somewhat smaller.
Just my 0.02.
Hi Biggurn,
unique piece of equipment.
The scans below are from an IR Product Catalogue I saved from a dumper.
Sorry, is about best I can do as I do not wish to dismantle said Catalogue.
Sometimes these clear up some when printed--double click the scan to get to full enlargement.
Hope they help.
Cheers,
Eddie B.![]()
Howdy biggurn,
That certainly is a neat piece of equipment, thanks for posting. I'll look if I have any pictures of a tracked Schramm when I get home tonight. The only Schramm picture I have on my phone is below. Thanks again.

For some oddball reason best known only the the site's uploading program, the last photo has been stood on its nose udring up loading 'cos I KNOW that it showing correctly in my files.

That rubber tracked unit is very cool. It could be paraded! I've seen those wheeled compressors before. There was one here for sale on C.L. a couple of years back. Someone had pulled the motor and it was MIA... today I'd buy it in a heart beat, then I had no room.
There was one at a large, many building auction in Barnum, MN a few years ago. It was setting in a van trailer that they sold complete for $400.00. Unfortunately I was watching another bid item (Model A on snow tracks and skis) when they started a second auction ring. That trailer was the first item and I missed it. Tried to buy it but the fellow that bought the trailer bought it for the compressor. Had a small mounted drill for it also.
Put the IR to work today, powering my V4 mall pneumatic chainsaw at our local show.

Very cool, although I'll be the first to admit I'm not man enough to run a saw like that all day. Or even half a day !!
Thanks for sharing
