Info on S/N's

Anyone know of any internet sources that list S/N's with place of manufacture, year, and all other info?

There are no comprehensive S/N websites anywhere, due to the required amount of info requiring substantial website space, and the gathering of the complete information being a massive task, due to the amount of collation required.
Individual forums related to specific brands often have S/N info, but no one site has comprehensive information.

Add in, a huge range of models .. lost records .. probably at least 20,000 brands that have been built .. errors in records (even factory records) .. and you can see, that setting up a S/N site, would be a mammoth task.

I have several S/N books , and still don't have enough. One book I own, pertains to just the major brands of construction equipment alone, and doesn't even include industrial engines .. and that book alone is 477 pages.
