Hi guys, hoping someone can help.

I got an angle blade group from Tilly’s for my D7F. I’m fairly sure it’s not a Cat setup as it’s not like anything over ever seen on a Cat. The blade angles by moving pins with a sliding box section on the C-Frame.

Anyway, I need to identify it as I’m fairly sure it’s missing a cap or fitting of some sort for or two giant ball and socket type setup where the blade mounts to the frame.

If it’s any help in identifying it, it looks as though it’s had the hard lines to not just tilt the blade side to side but lean it forward and back as well (by moving both both tilt cylinders in the same direction)

Any info wouldn’t be appreciated. Thanks.

My guess is that you are missing a cup that sits in front of the ball and a two piece cap that then bolts to the blade to hold the ball in place.

Seem to recall seeing that ball and socket arrangement on Fiat dozers.

Maybe check the dimensions of the ball against those of a VPAT blade on a D6R, if you are in luck they maybe the same. Have you checked with Tilly's to see if they have the bits somewhere in their yard.

"I also joined a year ago. had been on here a couple of times as a non-member and found the info very helpful so I got a one year subscription (not very expensive at all) to try it out. I really like all the resources on here so I just got a three year. I think its a very small price for what you can get out of this site."
