Thanks you for advice. I used two come-alone and two straps. Lowering and raising the pan went well. Pictures of how I rigged the come-alone are attached and one picture showing amount of debris inside the oil pan protective cover. Also included is the identification plate for the Rome blade (KA 71 #1803). Again, thank you for the input.

Thats good! Makes it easier when theres a set of sweeps to lift from. My blade is #1779, pretty close. Might want to make a lower grill gaurd for your tractor, heres a pic of mine, it's 3/8" diamond plate with holes in it like the upper grill but not as close together, with closed in angle iron on the bottom and 3/8" x 3" plate across the top.

Thanks for the picture, again, your Dozer looks like show room piece. I will take your advice on protection for grill.
Attached are pictures of root rake that came with Dozer.

Your welcome! Only my dad, uncle and I have ran it since new. I'm very fussy, lol, I even had the original dealer decals remade.I sandblasted, primered and painted it back in 2003. I just put new undercarriage on it in photo. Thats a heavy duty root rake.

Part of maintenance over spring breakup is dropping the belly pans on all the cats and cleaning them out.Would weld a hook or big chain link on each side at the balance point to lift from.
