Well, actually for my great nephew in Massachusetts; Being exposed to tractors at an early age, I think it is time that Uncle Gee gets him something of his own to play on.

He is a good kid, but his parents dread coming here, because he is fixated on tractors and no matter where they visit, he wants to see my tractors. No amount of bribery will get him to go eat pizza, see critters at a zoo or any form of "normal" kiddie activities. I hate to see him get pouty and have tantrums (not cool).

Any leads on the East coast of a small CAT for sale? I want a runner, and not a project for the little guy. Maybe a blade too?

I realize he is very young to have his own machine, but he has great parental supervision.

I realize this belongs in the WTB/FS section, but when it comes to tractors, you have to start somewhere.

TIA, JM.

I'll keep an eye out, JM. They're not as common over this side but they can be found with some patience. FB is usually a good source for items of "yellow iron" interest : ) Looking anywhere between Maine over to OH and down to VA will cast a pretty decent net.

Uncle Gee, ME TOO! But I need a place to keep it too. Will even accept a Cat-a-Pult model. 👼👼👼👼👼

Some of you "nephews" should be disowned... LOL

I should probably let his big sister get him one. We call her the "Car Jacker". She can follow a starting procedure once, (unlike some adults) and make something run. She has a habit of disappearing and starting up cars, trucks AND tractors on her own. My brother and I get a laugh out of her antics. We would really be in trouble if she figures out how to adjust the seats so her feet touch the pedals.

For real, I am looking for a small tractor for him. They have a nice 40 acre property that he can get plenty of fresh air and dirt to play in. He thinks he is a big boy now, his sandbox toys aren't quite fullfilling his "needs". He reminds me of me. Hah!

You can't disown CTS, he's your second favorite nephew! 🤣 Seriously, that would be a fun thing and I'm sure a big day for him.

Testimonials

"I also joined a year ago. had been on here a couple of times as a non-member and found the info very helpful so I got a one year subscription (not very expensive at all) to try it out. I really like all the resources on here so I just got a three year. I think its a very small price for what you can get out of this site."
