I do not know the weight but if you remove the easily removed cable blade you can get under width and save the extra cost of being a permit load. More than likely the push arms should unbolt making a nice package that may ride under the machine. I have heard of folks parking on blocks on the trailer in order to gain a few inches when space is tight.

Hi CH,
Blade specs from my 1955 Earthmoving Guide For Profit Spec Book and may be specs for models before the 17A, which was released in 1955.
Tractor specs are from Performance Hand Book No 4, Former Models Section.
Hope they help -- overall length of combined units is included in the Blade Specs.
Cheers,
Eddie B.

There is a late serial no 17A in my shed here.
It measures 7' 11" across the tracks.
8' 10" across the trunnions and 13' 8" from front of radiator guard to tip of drawbar.
Should weigh about 13 ton bare.

Testimonials

"I also joined a year ago. had been on here a couple of times as a non-member and found the info very helpful so I got a one year subscription (not very expensive at all) to try it out. I really like all the resources on here so I just got a three year. I think its a very small price for what you can get out of this site."
