does the clutch brake on the 20 work similar to the D2 D4 ??? if it does then there is a fiber disk that acts as a brake to stop the transmission gears from spinning. you need to push firmly on the clutch to activate
It appears that your question was answered the last time. You were even showed the pages from the service manual.
I admit to being aggravated before because I'm impatient when I have a machine opened up & want to resolve the problem before my attention gets diverted. Helps to remember that the number of people with in depth knowledge on anything old is fading. One thing this club is good for is to make personal contacts with people, use the member list and call people who own a twenty, that might narrow the field. Look at the machine list compiled by Chrisco, contact some of those members.

You have a wonderful day. Best wishes. Deas Plant.
Hi, growlyone.
As kracked1 mentioned in his post, it appears that you were given some answers in your previous thread, along with scans of the appropriate pages from the operators manual.

You have not said whether or not you followed up on that and/or, if you did, what the results were. Provided there are people here who have the answers you are looking for, you will usually get them, and often very quickly.
That said, distance - and the COVID19 virus - being what they are, there is only so much any of us here on this BB can do. There are STILL some things that YOU hafta do for yourself - - - like follow through with the answers that you were given to see if they help - and then get back with more questions if they don't - or maybe a shout out to those who helped you if they do.
Just my 0.02.

I guess he said he was "outta here" so he's not going to see the replies, but the next guy that knows how to search and reply hopefully will. I have to say you guys have a lot of patience and are very kind with your responses and that's commendable. Hopefully he'll get the same measured response from wherever else he goes. But the internet is generally not kind to people that flare up.
I’d guess he’ll visit and see the goodwill put out to him. All good suggestions, especially squatchs input on manuals. Not just about comparing scale items, but just having them. I can’t imagine doing much without what I have. Not to mention the simple quality and skills went in to drafting and developing an informative and concise resource. I like having books for similar models and out of range S/N too.
Have fun!
