We recently hauled in an HT4 with a hydrolic trackson loader. It is missing the pony and the main engine is locked up. I was wondering if anyone that has one knows how powerful they were. I need to move some gravel and am debating on fixing it to load. The loader frame is very beefy and overbuilt. Just wondering about the speed and useablity. It doesn't have a reverser that I can tell. Just a gear stick and clutch. Anyway, Any Ideas?

Thanks
John

well i can honestly say that its a really powerful machine. i have had no problem digging a couple foundations with them nor clearing land. the only problem i found with it, is that the bucket does roll back far enough. but you can still get a full load in the bucket just but picking it straight up in the pile. your reverse gear should be all the way to the left and straight back if i am not mistaken. i am sure if i am wrong on that i will be corrected haha. anyways, you have a strong machine just needs a little TLC.

Sounds good. Thanks for the reply. I am more anxious to get it going now. Someone has added on to the bucket to make it larger. Any guess on what this thing weighs?

Thanks,
John

The HT4 book I have says it weight is 18,000 lbs. (9 ton) mounted on the D4 chassis.
