HT4's were built on 7U tractors. Should be tags in the usual places or stamped s/n at the tag locations.

I have looked, both places have revets but no tags and no stamps in the metal, I thought maybe when cat bought out trackson some where between 1950 and 1953 they done something different. If anyone has information on Trackson serial numbers, that might tell me the year at least

If you polish up the metal between the rivets on the transmission case I bet the numbers show up. They are hard to pick out sometimes but I have never failed to find them there. I was led to believe that they used the stamp during assembly and never put the tag on until after paint.

Testimonials

"I also joined a year ago. had been on here a couple of times as a non-member and found the info very helpful so I got a one year subscription (not very expensive at all) to try it out. I really like all the resources on here so I just got a three year. I think its a very small price for what you can get out of this site."
