Folks:

Even though the book says this machine (06N00574; 1975) can "mechanically adjust the blade angle", it doesn't say how. The machine has lift and tilt cylinder(s), but only struts from blade to frame where a cylinder would normally go.

Anybody out there know how to manually adjust this blade for angle?

Thanks.

I don't see how those struts adjust?? doesn't appear to be any screw threads?
are we talking about a vertical angle or a horizontal angle??

my guess would be to make your own arms
one longer and one shorter to replace those fixed length
or replace those with threaded arms

06Nxxxx is not a D3B, It is a D3 low ground pressure machine with straight blade and tilt only.

How about a picture of the top of the blade? Are you asking about blade pitch or blade angle? You may be able to adjust pitch but not angle.

OK, looks like somebody substituted rigid rods in place of the normal 6-way blade angle cylinders.

I'd guess those rods came from the early straight blade arrangement.

"I also joined a year ago. had been on here a couple of times as a non-member and found the info very helpful so I got a one year subscription (not very expensive at all) to try it out. I really like all the resources on here so I just got a three year. I think its a very small price for what you can get out of this site."
