What is the process in using Image Shack??

I presume that this is a site that you subscribe to for use of----keep hearing about it but never have tried accessing it.

Any coaching appreciated.

-----and I do appreciate the thumbnail size photos due to my slow load up feature from the dial up connection. Let's give Joe some time to "fine tune the piano". Gotta walk before we run----at least we are past the crawling stage.😎

On the old board, on many of the full size pictures----it took so long to download that I would finally just have to skip over them (or view only the top 1/3----guess at what the rest of the picture must have shown).

Great progress has been made here-----be patient----and it will get better.

DD - ImageShack upload page is here .. www.imageshack.us
It's simple enough to use .. left click on the "browse" button .. which opens you default picture files window ("My Pictures" in Windows XP) .. select the picture you want to upload .. left click on "host it!" ..

After a few seconds, you'll see a thumbnail appear, with a number of address "codes" above and below it. These codes are listed for putting the image up on .. websites and forums (BB's) .. and you can select either a thumbnail code or full size codes.
All you need do, is highlight, copy and then paste the selected code into your posting on any BB.
The bottom code gives you a direct-linked, full size image in your post.

The headings along the top are links to more info .. click on and read the "Common Questions" for starters ..
Once you have pics hosted on there, they stay there forever .. and you can find them, by left clicking on "My Images" at top right of the page.
"My Images" page has a list of images (or you can select thumbnails if you prefer) .. and left clicking on "Get Code", gives you the codes for that pic.

If you look up Swishys picture posting advice on the ACME "Help Forum" .. you'll find his instructions very helpful ..

Hi Bruce/Oz,
Thanks for the "heads up" on photobucket. I sort of fell into the habit of using imageshack but it is a little difficult to navigate in when you have a lot of material posted. Will give it a go.
