how much would you guys pay for a 1955 d4 with dozer at an auction. pony needs repaired undercarriage looks about 75%.

Unless you can take it for a "Test Drive", then you have to figure out its "Scrap" value.
Why?
Because you do not know what if any underlying problems it has besides the Pony issues.
Then,
You need to pad that number with how much can you afford to lose if it indeed has underlying issues.
Thats the amount you want to spend!
