I'm just curious as to how many 40 scrapers are left and how many of you have one? If you have one could you please tell your serial number if you can still read it [RUST😠 ] and add some pictures of them if you can. I'll add some pictures and serial numberr of some of the ones I know of too. The first one is one that is on Machinery Trader serial 1W5368. The second one is Joe Granats serial 1W5744. I have some other pictures I'll add later that I have to dig out. Others I know of are Jim Gangle's, Don Martin's, Lou Mcmaster's, Larry Maasdam's, and Glen Ghilotti's. I don't have the serial numbers to any of these. Does any body know what these serial numbers. The serial number of the one my Brother and I are getting is 1W5134. Thanks for any of your help, Josh.

I have a neighbor with one of them. He pulls it behind a real early versatile tractor. Its in pretty good shape. I hope to deal him out of it someday.πŸ˜‰

Josh, Wright built attachments, graders and scrapers under licence to cat, as did Birtley in England, Steelweld in Australia and I think Fieldchief in New Zealand to some extent.I have attached a pic of mine. She has since received a fresh coat of paint. I have pics of a couple more I can post if you like.

Wabcoman, do you have any idea of the number of Wright 40's, 60's and 80's built? Literature seems to be almost non existant.

Hello Josh A Yoos

Very interested in your project, re the "CAT" 40 scrapers, I note from your photo's that the one advertised for sale is an earlier production scraper, as it has the early truck type wheels, I am not sure at just what serial no they changed to the full cast wheels - as in the photo"s of the one sitting in the snow. There were several sold here in New Zealand.
