I ran on to a caterpillar last week and due to my limited knowledge of them, I do not know what it is...I took pics but guess I do not know how to post it here... I have it in my file but how do I get it here? Can I click and drag it to here? Can someone help? If it does not have a pony motor, and never had one it has to be newer than??? where do I find the Serial number on it... I think its about a D6.. why do I think that? its bigger than a D4..😊 tell me how to load my pic here and ill let you look at it first hand... I sure enjoy ACMOC. Im currenty restoring a D2 5U 2214,,, Bob

Look under Bulletin Board Operations. (Part of the 4 main headings)
(Dissussion, For Sale, Etc.)
Go to the post by Swishy on how to post pics. It is labeled as a sticky.

Posting is done under the Manage Attachments section of "Additional Options"

Cat serial numbers are normally in two places so look on the left rear side of the engine block just below the head and the second one would be on the rear housing above the drawbar toward the top of it.
