Hi Team,
came across this data whilst searching my literature for something else.
It may help some of us understand why some machines experience clutch drag and others do not.
Cat came out with updates to the Horizontal Pony Engine clutches. This info is scanned below from Service Bulletin-engines May 08-1956.

Similar updates were done for Vertical units but there are some upgrades and supplimentry info to sift as yet. I will post this when I am happy with the data being correct.
Cheers,
Eddie B.

The way I read that is the second series was the original update and the first one was the second update, that's the way I see it by s/n anyway.

Thanks for posting those Eddie

Hi Team,
YES, the first scan is the up-date/supplement to the original two scans I posted. This BB can load scans as it sees fit. BUT, to be fair, I did add the now first scan later on.
Cheers,
Eddie B.

Testimonials

"I also joined a year ago. had been on here a couple of times as a non-member and found the info very helpful so I got a one year subscription (not very expensive at all) to try it out. I really like all the resources on here so I just got a three year. I think its a very small price for what you can get out of this site."
