For removed the cluch and starter pinion you do't need to removed the fuel pump and governor but need to raise the poney motor 2 inchs to clear the gear

Hector is right as usual, I believe it also helps to engage the pinion latches too so the over all length of the starter pinion is shortened enough to help it slip out past the governor, those pinions are a snug fit so use plenty of lube beforehand as you might find rust or the old seal will try and hold it tight, be patient and go easy with the big hammer.

Testimonials

"I also joined a year ago. had been on here a couple of times as a non-member and found the info very helpful so I got a one year subscription (not very expensive at all) to try it out. I really like all the resources on here so I just got a three year. I think its a very small price for what you can get out of this site."
