I need an “Arm breaker” (no, not a knuckle buster) for my newly adopted drawn grader.

I did my homework and think it is a #44, serial #4A727.

The lucky person that gets to spin the wheel might get a milk crate to sit on and an umbrella, but that wouldn’t be period correct would it?

I might need a 60 to pull it, but we will cross that bridge sometime in the future.

Applicants should be equipped with sea legs and provide your own shade. JM

Looks good, there used to be quite a few of those in the neighborhood growing up as a kid. In fact my first job after my father picked us up after school (1st grade) was riding on the back of one of those with my older brother behind a D69u closing in both irrigation and drainage ditches so the sprayer could come in that night.

I am happy with it so far. I bet they were fun to grease back in the old days of hand pumped grease guns. Whoever auctioned this off, already lubed it, but missed a few zerk fittings. I thought the gearbox for the circle was broken, but realized the same wheel operated the sideshift. A pretty slick set up for something built in 1933. I will repair the spring for the hitch, give it a hot bath (orange paint underneath) and plan on taking it to an event. This one is straight enough to warrant sandblasting and new paint.

It seemed like after I had purchased a 66 several years ago (My friend Tracy Shane from Nevada owns it now), I could not notice what seemed that every farm yard had at least one! I would really like a small terracer, but guys like Breadler and Sparky2010 have been swooping up everything with a blade; not to mention anything with tracks! Oh some day I might find a little #1 or #2 for here. wink wink!

There is the smallest Cat grader I have ever seen, just down the street from me. It looks like it needs a Cat 10 in front of it. Now that I think about it, it probably is a terracer. I have never stopped to look closely. I have a terracer for my D4, but I dont know what brand it is. Grant.

😉 Yes what is it with some people they just refuse to share the rust. 😵‍💫 Why can't they learn to share.🥲

🥲 And how far this organization has fallen. ☹️ A gazillion $ spent on a website and I need to import emojis from an outside source.🥲🥲🥲

All kidding aside go get a few more JM. We don't want them going to the smelter to soon.

Yes Ray, I miss having the emojis as well.

I think I will have to present annual HOARDER awards to some folks. They can wear the crown with pride. Around here, that is a badge of honor LOL.

My kitty orphanage is a tad full here, as it has been for a few years now. I can't save everything unfortunately.

Meanwhile, I will study more about the 44 model blades. I think I rather be more book smart about them than cranking all of those wheels!

😥 I'm so sad, the orphanage is getting full. Hoarder Awards - now that will be an interesting contest, who is going to judge and what are the contest rules? Caterpillar, Holt, Best, or those other machines and implements included? Bone yards?

Hi, juiceman and Potato Wilson.

I'd happily volunteer for either or both jobs but the commute is a bittuva problem since my camper is not amphibious.

Just my 0.02.

You have a wonderful day. Best wishes. Deas Plant.

Potato Wilson: I messed up not getting that terracer, it is a nice one! I was supposed to call the guy in Whitmore, but I also knew that you saw it first sort of (Crawler addict is sometimes my extra set of eyes and deal maker). No sour grapes, glad that you got it. At least your terracer is more user friendly somewhat and much easier to transport.

Deas: Slap some empty barrels around your Popemobile and float it over. See you somewhere.
