I have been working on this tractor picked up local and was wondering if anyone knows of a way to search the history of it? It's serial number is 2F3241SP, it's a wide but does not have a W in the number. I found a Michigan dept. of conservation ID tag in the tool box that has the same serial number stamped in it along with Unit, 6-28. Anyone know how to try and search history on it? I have been trying but come up empty handed. Any help is greatly appreciated. 6-28 is also on the hood painted.

Great find. Sorry I don't have answers to your questions but I really liked that original bumper and grill in your first photo. Those are original options out of the parts book as I understand it - don't throw them away! : )

Thanks Neal, I have found the hard nose grill guard and the tow hook that connects to the drawbar and mid way at the bell housing but haven't found anything on the bumper. Every thing about it seems original though, the mounts look cat and not scanned together in a gas station service garage.

Few pics of the bumper and mounts to the radiator support through the lower engine curtains, the frame extends to the equalizer bar between the track frames and is bolted through the same four studs that hold the frames on the final drives. The one pic is a spring loaded crank Handel holder.

Very cool 22, be very proud of that one!

Garlic Pete, I had heard that the IH crowd had indeed hatched a dastardly plan. However when they set out to execute said plan, the guys on crawlers shelled out their final drives and the ones on wheel tractors blew up their T/As so there they sit.
