Found me a craigslist deal and HAD to have it. Has all the controls and adaptor plates except the left side seat bracket, but that is easy to make. Turns smoothly and no rumble or 'clunk' of bad gears or bearings. Judging from the only slight wow of the crossbar, I am thinking it has not been too abused. No grooves on the side either from fairleading the thing. These are the pix from the seller's ad. Thanks for the deal, Jeff!
I plan to clean it up inside and out, replace the control bushings as they are a little loose. Will paint it when I do the whole cat paint job. I downloaded the manual from Allied, which is a great thing to have.
I will get 'er mounted up, and convert my now "steer" dozer into a true "BULL" dozer, with that big thing hanging off the back!😆
Wifey has accepted my new addition, since it is such a cool thing to have on the back of my machine! Told her now I can pull her car out now if it gets stuck down a deep ravine, or, pull over some trees that she wants out, etc, etc,....
Wow, you scored- and just down the freeway from me! Be sure to post up pics when you get her all dialed in!

Good find Dan,
I don't know if the online manual is complete. If not I found an original for mine. Let me know if you need a copy of something. My winch is next years project.

Looks like you're missing the longer bellcrank pins. You'll find when the mounting plate that mounts on top of the center section there are two holes that line up with the stearing bell cranks. I made up longer one when I put the D2N on my D2.

Yes, I noticed that after reading the manual. I will have to make some up. What material did you use on those? I have some chrome 1" rod from a worn out hydraulic cylinder that should work, assuming they are supposed to be 1".
The have some machining to make them up. The lower end is a smaller diamater and the to top has a taped hole (3/8" fine thread) so the the pin can be pulled out. I just used some rolled stock, I can fined one of my old ones and get the messurements off and post them.

Hey that would be great to get the dimensions! I have a machinist buddy who can make them up for me.
Dan,
Here is a drawing of a stock (non-winch) bell crank pin, you'll need to increase the length adding the thickness of your new top mounting plate for the winch. I'd also recommend checking the roller bearings in the bell cranks while your in there.
