Does anyone know of a source for a fuel pump diaphragm for a cat 22. The fuel pump is an AC brand . Hopefully there is a supplier in the western half of the states. I also need a heat gauge as mine has died. I understand cat sells a replacement that is smaller .Does anyone have that part number ? Thank you for any help Don

If your sources for a factory fit dont pan out, try Olsons http://www.olsonsgaskets.com/

They might have a direct fit for your pump, or fuel resistant gasket material in a flex format. I have successfully used their sheet gasket material in an accelerator pump application for an obsolete Solex carb. This is a fabric reinforced material just like fuel pumps and accelerator pumps use, and comes in various thicknesses.

Good luck!

You want to contact "Then and Now at 1-781-335-8860".
Google their webpage. They will send your pump back to you totally rebuilt and updated if requested. US price is $135(approximately). Typically they get them done in about a week

Is this just a diaphragm or does it have a pin in the center. If just a disk I have a roll of 1/16 " reinforced flexible material I have used for fuel pumps - your more than welcome to try a piece. Bob

While you are waiting for a fuel pump, bypass the pump. make a cover plate and drive the tractor. I have been told that unless you are in steep hill country it will run just fine without a pump. I have a tailseat 22 with no fuel pump and it "ran when parked". Maybe make sure the fuel tank is full for an extra 1/4 pound of fuel pressure. Good Luck with it. Grant.

Mine has the "Dual Fuel" style of Tank. While waiting for my Fuel Pump Rebuild Funds to build up, I drove mine a lot with just the "Gas Starting Tank"! Carried a 2 gallon jug on the fender to add a little every once in a while. That tank is lower in the main tank so going up grade it would lean out and stumble.

I really like all the resources on here so I just got a three year. I think its a very small price for what you can get out of this site."
