What weight of oil would you use in the housing & how much? Its a D47j.

You use the same oil as you use in the crankcase and fill it up to the top of the plug hole and then screw the plug back in.

we run our d4-7j at the same level as SJ specified but because we are at a higher elev. we run 30-40 WT. in our machines you have to be careful and see how your elev. will effect the oil you put in it.๐Ÿ˜„

we run 30-40WT in our d4-7j because of the elev. we are at but we run it at the level specified by SJ you need to see how the elev. will effect the oil you're going to put in it just puttin' in my 2cents๐Ÿ˜„
