Long shot here fellas I know this is a cat site but I've got a mate doing a vf fowler he has been trying to find where to check the transmission oil on it and cannot seem to find too much info on them, thought maybe someone on here may of had something to do with them

Also trying to find a heat exchanger leaver and shaft for my fifteen I'm doing myself if anyone can steer me in the direction of one would be unreal!!

Those are the single cylinder Field Marshall conversions aren't they? Boy those things sure are neat I'd like to see one in person some day.

OK , On the left hand side If you are sitting on the machine .On the side of the transmission there is a bung straight under where the PTO drive comes out of the tranmission .Basicly only a couple of inches of oil . Book recommends 80/90 gear oil for cold or temperate climates . Above 27C 140 .

And this onme is from one of our clubs Rallies .Friend of min did the Video ,His love is Stationary engines so that is what you get to start with . then a couple of allis chalmers HD5s and the Fowler moving a bit of dirt around .
. Bit of Footage of a "Law saw " cutting railway sleepers.the fowler on the pull sled and some vintage cars .
