Fire extinguisher

Hi cab, I used Amerex extenguishers on my 'dozers for years and still use one now. They are all metal, rechargable, rugged and dependable. I never had a failure or loss of charge. They just flat held up even in our South Texas heat and dust. They are a must have, the cost of a quality extenguisher is nothing compared to the cost of replacing a 'dozer.

Good idea to keep a fire ext on your CAT.

I keep a fire ext. on all my machines, mounted in plain site with easy access. Most of mine are older "General" brand. I don't know if they are still in business but the local fire ext guy here claims they are one of the best. Whatever you buy don't get one of the cheap ones with the plastic valves/head. They are usually too small, throw away quality and can't be rebuilt. Get the biggest one you can fit on your machine.

Yeah until I get my engine enclosure situation squared away, my brushwork in this 100+ degree heat is a real risky business. Thanks for feedback.
