I was wondering if the D2s D4s and the D6 take more or less the same engine oil filter?

Yes
D7 and D8 too, just more of them the bigger the tractor.
Standard full flow filter on all the old caterpillar tractors is a WIX 51161, NAPA 1161, CAT 1R-0659

D2-5J's, D6-9U's, D318 and D333 power units, 12E-99E grader, 922B & 944A wheel loaders, D330C generator set, DW20 water tanker and a bunch of Jersey cows to take care of in my spare time😄
