before the head is on try all nuts on the studs if they go on easy on all the tread, and i lubricated them with a bit oil, to let them go on and off easy.
this is to know if you torque the head and not the mabe difficult nut/ stud.

Someone just requested Torque specs in the past 3 months and the CAT Torque sheets were posted up again. These also have the numbering for which order to Torque in also. Use the SEARCH function in the upper right of your screen to find the Thread with the Torque Values.

Hi Stew, yes, the search terms aren't always obvious, so sometimes the search has to be broadened. I know I've searched for things in the past with a specific term and didn't find them, broadened the search, found the thread, and there was the term right there in the thread. I think because it's google search, it gives you "premium" results first, and sometimes not even your term.

Testimonials

"I also joined a year ago. had been on here a couple of times as a non-member and found the info very helpful so I got a one year subscription (not very expensive at all) to try it out. I really like all the resources on here so I just got a three year. I think its a very small price for what you can get out of this site."
