I have an question that is not about Caterpillars butt maybe some of you know something about this.
If this question is not allowed please remove this post.

Here it goes,I have two 1/35 scalemodels of the 17/19 Ruston Bucyrus Crawler Excavator.
And I want to place it on the back of my 1/35 scalemodel of an 20-ton Freuhauf flatbed trailer with dolly and as tractor I have an 1/35 Corbitt 6X6 6-ton truck.
I want give this combination the markings of an US Army Corps of Engineers unit in WW2.
Butt before I build the 17/19 RB Excavator I want to know for sure if the US Army Corps of Engineers did use the 17/19 RB Exacavator back in WW2?

Does anyone know if the US Army Corps of Engineers did use the 17/19 Ruston Bucyrus Excavator back in WW2?
Any information is welcome and much appreciated!

Thanks and cheers!

Hello John,

I certainly wil post some picture,s of these models, butt I am still on the ,,hunt,, for reference,s on the 17/19 RB Excavator and the the answer on the question if the US Corps of Engineers did use this Excavator back in WW2.

I have posted on some other forums about heavy equipment this question too,so I hope to find the answer soon so that I can start building on the Excavator.

Cheers!
