I found another PV 15 six miles from my house. I have named him Jim, after my late cat skinner Dad. ACMOC member Soapy gave me the tip, thanks Soapy. This cat has a frozen engine but could be restored depending on what I find inside the engine. It does have a nice hood and tank but no side engine panels. Jim does have an Ensign carb but the Eisemann mag is missing some serious parts. It took about 5 pulls back and forth to unfreeze the tracks. Only people who visit this site will understand why a person who does not enough time to give to his current project would buy another one. Thanks to my brother for helping me load. Gary

Gary,
I see by the text and the pictures, that you made contact with my friend porkchop, and cut a deal. I am real happy for both of you. Good to see you named him after your father, who I knew back in 1970 when I worked at the NAPA store, as one of the customers. Was the other cat Ernie, named after your dad's employee?

Seems to me that you can't throw a dead cat (pardon the pun) in California without hitting some kind of a Cat project. I am kinda glad they aren't that easy to find here. I like living inside the big house. (not dog house). Good luck with the tractor.

Soapy,
Actually, Ernie is named after my father-in-law becasue the cat came from his family's farm and was purchased in 1931. The other Ernie you remember did work for my dad. I will need several more cat projects before I get to Ernie II. Probably have to name one after my wife pretty soon. Gary
