I have a Ensign carb. that I am not certain which model or year of machine it would belong to. Does anyone out there have an idea.

On pot metal body -Ensign 5A 37E Pat # NO.1506229

Brass throat opening is 1 5/8"-1 11/16" . Bolt spacing 3" o.c.

Part # on brass throat flange side stamped Ae271445

Part # on pot metal air intake elbow S-174I

Part # on brass body circular surface 5AIE Pat. Pending

Part # on brass throttle lever 5A2E

total weight 8 lbs

That is actually for the Cat 30 for use after discontinuation of the Stromburg that was used on the last Best 30's and the very first Cat 30's.

I have a Early PS-30 that would look better with the right carb if its for sale.

My thirty P.S. 90 has the caterpillar logo instead of the ensign logo on the float bowl. Is that a later float bowl or an earlier original that has survived?

Yellow, your float bowl is an earlier one that has survived.

Thank you all for the information on the carb. Yes the carb will be for sale or trade for 60 carb. only to an individual who is needing to make a machine complete. just give me a PM.
