Got an other identification need. Would this carb been used on any of the Caterpillars and if so which models? Stamping on throat reads AeLc28, throat bolt o.c. 2 11/16 inches, throat opening 1 7/16.

Somedays I come across things in the shed that I brought in the past at a sale and forgot about. Then time passes to quickly.

Anybody have a list of carburators that where used by Caterpillar? That could be usefull for those of at sales and swap meets.

Stay Cool, Wendell

The AELC Ensigns were used on the late L and PL series Twentys and the Twenty Fives. It is the same as the AEL except that it has a choke in it.
Thanks

Thank you Erik for the usefull carb list and Ken for the reply. This carb is clearly stamped AeLc28, so it may not have a caterpillar use. I was wanting to find it a new home for I have nothing it goes to.

Or Plan B, I always like extra plans, find out the tractor it goes on and bring one home.

Don't care to be a horder but sometimes it's an trip. Just don't trip in the shed, might hurt.

Any other ideas from viewers?
