What sort of power units and especially electric sets did Caterpillar offer prior to the start of the "diesel era" and the products we are all reasonably familiar with? I haven't been able to find much along those lines since that thought popped into my head the other day.
Any information, pictures, literature etc. related to this would be much appreciated
