To members of the club, PLEASE submit your free advertisement (40 words or less) to the magazine editors for Issue 78, which we expect to go to the printer on or about February 15, 2008.

The deadline for the free advertisements is February 1st. The deadline for paid classified ads is February 6th.

Please e-mail your ads to [email protected] (copy and paste to your browser address line).

Note that you can include a photo of your item for a fee of $15.00.

Below are the guidelines adopted by the board concerning free advertisements, furnished for your information.

From Resolution Number 152, adopted by the ACMOC Board of Directors on November 28, 2007.

“1. That each member of ACMOC may submit, without charge, one classified advertisement in each ACMOC newsletter, which is 40 words or less in length.

“2. That for a fee of $15.00, the member may have a color photograph included with his free advertisement, which photograph will be no wider than the width of the column in which the ad appears.

“3. That for the purposes of this resolution, the term “Caterpillar-related” includes equipment manufactured by the C.L. Best Tractor Company, the Holt Tractor Company, the Caterpillar Tractor Company, Caterpillar Inc., and any company that Caterpillar Tractor Company or its successor corporation has acquired, and scale models, literature, and memorabilia (including dealerships) thereof.

“4. That the classified advertisement must list only the following items as “wanted” or as “for sale”:

“a. Caterpillar-related equipment;
“b. Parts for Caterpillar-related equipment;
“c. Accessories (such as winches, blades, hydraulics, cabs, lights, etc.) for Caterpillar-related equipment, of whatever manufacture;
“d. Implements (such as scrapers, pull-graders, etc.) of whatever manufacture to be used with Caterpillar-related equipment;
“e. Antique trucks and/or trailers with which to haul Caterpillar-related equipment.”
