I think the last time I posted anything about my DW10 we were still on the old board. After some time with nothing happening, at last some progress is being made on this tractor.
It has been sitting in Seward, Nebraska since Dave Geis bought it from the people who own the grain elevator next to my house. I bought it from him several years ago. Tomorrow it is finally going to get moved close to home.
It's new home will be in Springfield, only 10 minutes away.
Maybe now I'll finally get to do some work on it, and see about getting it to run next year. I'll post pics tomorrow or Saturday.
I have noticed diesel fuel in the radiator when I've checked it. How can this be transferring into the cooling system? Pre Coms in the head, or can anybody think of another route of entry?
It has the D318 engine, and I'm trolling for ideas.
Thanks,
Alan627b

I doubt I'm that lucky, but it would be nice if that was all it is!
Anything is possible, it's run all of 2-3 minutes since the early 1990's.....maybe someone used a dirty bucket to fill it.

I like a move with no adventures! Thanks to Joe Scwarts for moving it, and to Jeff Jones for storage and help unloading it. Loader came in handy!

This shows the pulley they added between the parts of the coupler, and the modifications done to mount the pump for the spray rig. More stuff to get rid of unless I can figure out another use for it. Additional air compressor maybe?

Pics of the raisable drawbar they added, I'm keeping this. Also showing the 3 valve hydraulics they added. Ought to come in handy. I don't know if I'll find a scraper for it or not, big pain to put the ccu back on and a towed scraper might not work that great .
On the other hand, I'll bet a log splitter could be added to the hitch pretty easily!
Crappy "rollbar" is gonna go. The way they mounted it, it keeps the fenders from moving like they are designed to do.
