Anyone out there know the weight of the tractor unit of a DW 20. We have come across a few and they are looking for $100/ton for them based on their weight. If we pick them up, it will not be to scrap them, they will be future projects added to an ever growing list.

Thanks for the help,

Ken J

Ken, give Cleveland Bros. a call there in Lancaster & have them look on the back page of a parts book for the weight. Their # is (717) 859-4905

Ken, the Caterpillar performance handbook gives the weight of the 6w serial number as 25,610 lbs, approx, 11.1/2 ton. cheers Al

Testimonials

"I also joined a year ago. had been on here a couple of times as a non-member and found the info very helpful so I got a one year subscription (not very expensive at all) to try it out. I really like all the resources on here so I just got a three year. I think its a very small price for what you can get out of this site."
