Has anyone ever tried to substitute sand blasting with dry ice blasting? There is a company near me that does it but I'm not sure if it will work as good as sand, or if it is cost comparable. Seems the cleanup would be easier but the end product might not be as good?

it works ok they did a little on a drag line shut down, it will cut grease where normal blasting just push it around but i don't think it got the cutting power of sand there is no clean up cus it evaporates just what ever paint it too off i think it cost more too. it looks neat

How does it do on tracks? Does it blast the rust off and make them silver again like sand does?
