I noticed in another post that some D8's had the clutch main plate fiber links switched to push instead of pull is there any known changes to the D6 since I have the clutch completly apart it would be the time to switch. If was to switch it looks like you would have to turn the main plate around due to the location of the grease zert.

Does make a person wounder if pushing would hold up better seems like less stress on links but maybe they would try to belly out in the middle?

As far as I remember the old dry clutch D6s pulled & not pushed for the ones I worked on years ago.

The reverse links applied to the D8 2U5307 up only using the 9F3358 links.

Testimonials

"I also joined a year ago. had been on here a couple of times as a non-member and found the info very helpful so I got a one year subscription (not very expensive at all) to try it out. I really like all the resources on here so I just got a three year. I think its a very small price for what you can get out of this site."
