this is attached to the back of the oil pressure gauge one wire from the alternator and the other goes to the amp gauge??

would like to know what this is so I can search for the part.

Don’t know exactly but it looks like a pressure switch to me. Low pressure alarm perhaps?

What model machine is that on? Could be a pressure switch that controls a hour meter. If I recall our D6D has a similar switch.
