Only if you oil it too much, you'll have an oil clutch, that oil cap is for the sliding collar on the clutch. Those screws are from the clutch brake, they hold the lining on.
Thank you! How many of the screws are there, I wonder if somebody just lost them and used new ones..
When I do oil that collar how much 30 weigh should I use just like 10 drops or something?
The clutch was working great didn’t seem like it was sleeping at all, I stalled it out a couple times Trying to push too much dirt
Accidentally drained it thinking it was the transmission but I’m glad I did, I know now that oil seeps in there from the transmission and knowing is half the battle!
For the J model D2, it calls for filling the cup with transmission oil every 20 hours of use, and on the U model it says to fill every 10 hours of use, cup should be mostly filled with felt or similar packing to hold the oil.
Thanks Josh on point!

Ok, I believe those are adjustment screws from the pinion latches, part #3B5121
They must need some purple thread locker or red? Apparently they Are not super necessary as my clutch seems to be working fine? Who knows I guess I got a pull the cover and look around
