My thanks to all who helped me in the past with my D8-15A CCU. When I pulled it down I found the bottom anchor of the brake lining had broken the weld and caused the end to curl inwards, forcing the band away from the drum. Removed the small lining, straightened, and welded. All is good again. Now.......working on a new prototype to use hydrogen with diesel engine to stuff something up the oil companies and rag heads where the sun don't shine. I'm calling to the scrap piles in your memorys where I can find a diesel piston for a 3-1/4" bore. Don't care what it came out of as long as the fore is right. Might be off a Gen-set or something?
Thanks

D3400 engine used in D2 J series, 212 grader before 1948, gen sets etc.

I don't have one, but someone will.
D2-5J's, D6-9U's, D318 and D333 power units, 12E-99E grader, 922B & 944A wheel loaders, D330C generator set, DW20 water tanker and a bunch of Jersey cows to take care of in my spare time😄

I don't believe Cat used a 3-1/4 in. bore in any diesel.
